Dodgy Airport Lady

I added the clip I took to the Dodgy Airport Lady post.

Not very clear, and she had enough sense to wear Sunglasses to conceal her identity.

Maybe I should start a facebook group to see who else has seen her?

Dodgy Airport Lady Strikes Again!

HA! got you! Well, not quite. I saw her coming but she saw me to! So I followed her, with my phone camera. When I have more bandwidth, I will put the clip on Facebook, and maybe my debut youtube clip. Unfortunately she put some sunglasses on, but she did turn around and say to me, `Can I help you?'... I just said, `Yes, please, I would like to take a picture' She said... `No' Suprisingly ;-) I heard them talking about her on 5FM the other day. I reckon we should spread the word and get everyone trying to take pics of OR Tambo's Dodgy Airport Lady. Thing is, is duping people illegal? I imagine it should be. How do you get evidence though? Anyway. It is what it is.

Just got back from Nelspruit and went to pick my car up from the airport (I left it there on Sunday when I flew to Bloem)... and guess who was there!

Yes... I saw Dodgy Airport Lady again...

She was trying her luck with someone as I walked past and I told him she was a fraudster... I cleaning guy behind me laughed. It seems everyone at OR Tambo knows her.

Yet it seems there is nothing you can do about it. How would you catch someone like her out? Is what she is doing illegal? I would think so.

4th time.

I reported her again... and the policeman recognised the description again. Perhaps it is not against the law to defraud people, they can only be chased away!

Dodgy Airport Lady

I know I am at the airport regularly but come on! What are the chances of the same fraudster trying to catch me three times. She must be making a killing. The second time she tried, I reported her to the security guards at the exit and gave them my business card in case they wanted to follow up. This time, a found a police lady, who recognised and completed my description of her!

So… if at OR Tambo and a long dark curly haired woman, very elegantly dressed in Indian attire says she has lost her wallet or can’t find her car and needs to catch a taxi…

Don’t say you weren’t warned!
