I have always said there are things I know how to do, and things I don't... and that I am happy to pay someone else to do the things I don't know how to, or don't want to do.
So, why the hell didn't I just do that with my taxes... I thought, hey, this is simple... let me do it myself.
Then today I get a little present from SARS, the kind of little present a pet leaves for you as you walk through the door.
Actually not so little and with a `-' sign in front. Grrrr. I don't know much about tax, but I know I shouldn't owe them anything.
So... I have an appointment with a tax person on Friday. And from now on I will let the people who know what they are doing do the things I do without knowing what I am doing.
