Vancouver

My first taste of Vancouver was three weeks of work and not much play. The lingering flavour was enough to pull me back. Ice Hockey and the Canucks. Pancakes. Stanley Park. Second time I got to explore. Surrounded by white capped mountains, trees and water. Bursting with people. Welcoming. Friendly. China Town. Hastings Street. Apartment blocks. Like Cape Town but with more flavours of people, and some cold white stuff. Lion's Gate Bridge. The Capilano Suspension Bridge. The University of British Columbia Museum of Anthropology. A beach full of logs to hop from. Poutine - fries covered in gravy and cheese curds.
