Drawn Series in India

While disappointed at the way we lost the third test, the Indian team did play very well. I am trying to remember the last test match that went 5 days with a result though.

We basically threw it away in that one session where we lost 6 wickets for 90 runs, and then again on the first session of the third day where the last wicket stand of the Indians put on 50 runs or so.

Another 100 runs would have made the game interesting. What this series did remind me about though, is how much more interesting Test Cricket is than the one-day and 20-20 stuff. The shorter versions are more fun, but I can't think of another sport with as much extended intrigue and test of character.

I also enjoyed the spirit... perhaps it didn't boil over because Nel wasn't playing?

Time for the IPL now, the best of the best against each other in lottery cricket...

How to choose which team to support? hmmmm
