Monetising everything forces us to look through the lens of problem-solving.
Money making requires you to frame a describable action as a problem in a
container. Here is where you are. There is where you want to be. Here is not
good enough. I can get you there. Even then, there is an additional hoop.
Solving someone’s problem too well is not a great business. The hardest part of
any business model is hunting for clients. The holy grail is an ongoing “share
of wallet”. Money making is about sustainably being a valued part of the client’s
problem solving. Not about making sure they are satisfied. Unless you solve *your*
money problem. If you no longer have to think about funding your expenses, then
you can start looking at a whole new set of activities. Then you can put the
wallet aside and look at the person. You can even start looking at people without
wallets.
