Was a good game to watch. A dirty one, but a good one.
Rugby seems to have got it right in being a dynamic sport. In terms of the rules at least. Trying new things to make the game more entertaining has definitely pushed it into the professional era far quicker than cricket managed (Does anyone watch Domestic Cricket?)
But....
They need to start using the TV ref whereever ther ref feels justified. Guthro's punch... relayed on the big screen resulted in a penalty AGAINST the sharks and his victim in the bloodbin... what should have been 13-12 quickly became 15-10.
And had we not had an awesome last 10 minutes with 15 players against 14 (more dodgy bulls play)... that could have made the difference.
Anyway, we won. So I am happy.
